WilderOps was born from real-world challenges at The Bush Base nature-based learning program in Waiatarua, New Zealand. We built the platform we wished existed.
From Paper to Platform
In 2023, The Bush Base was drowning in paperwork. Enrollment forms, medical information, parent communications, absence tracking—everything was manual, time-consuming, and error-prone.
We looked at existing childcare management software and found them either too expensive, too complicated, or lacking the features we needed. So we built our own.
What started as an internal tool quickly evolved into a robust platform that other childcare centers wanted to use. We realized we'd built something special—a modern, intuitive system that both administrators and parents actually enjoy using.
